A Message From the Executive Director

We were all put on this earth for a reason and a purpose.

During this holiday season, we ask for your help through your funding to support and keep our shelter open. 

Our residents fled from domestic abuse and homelessness, many in the middle of the night tosafety. We are essential to the mothers and children as they had nowhere else to turn to for help.

When I was teaching my classes at William Paterson University and Ramapo College or at my speaking engagements, I would see tears in their eyes and they would say thank you.

Lawyers who can make a positive difference are asked to please join us and give back to those who need you.

We do not receive payment allocations from the government for most of the women and children at our shelter, yet we are dedicated to help them have a place to be, to continue on with their lives.   

Our utilities are urgently needed to be paid along with operating expenses.

 At this time, please help to fund our shelter to help the women and children who reside here … and for the many who will need a place to flee to in the future.
